Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park is the epicenter of a very diverse and interesting wildlife locality with a wide range of wildlife venues and accommodation options. Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve - the consolidation of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, the Umfolozi Game Reserve and the Corridor - is one of the largest provincial wildlife parks in KwaZulu-Natal.  Big Five Game Reserve - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard with a large variety of other wild animals which includes cheetah, wild dog, giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope. Accommodation is provided in a variety of rooms in camps, lodges and bush camps.

Previously a marginal farming area with a few wildlife game farms, this is all changing with the removal of the crops, consolidation of the properties and the reintroduction of the endemic wildlife which is creating a vast wildlife conservation area with a wide variety of accommodation options. Phinda Private Game Reserve in the area is a World renowned success with some of the finest Big Game viewing in South Africa. Here too a number of Lodges provide fully catered accommodation for guests.
