Rhino River Lodge is a private safari lodge set on the banks of the Umsunduze River within the 23,000-hectare Manyoni Private Game Reserve (formerly Zululand Rhino Reserve) in northern Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal. Just 30 km north of Hluhluwe, this intimate and welcoming lodge accommodates up to 24 guests in a variety of luxury units. Guests enjoy a fully catered safari experience in the heart of Big 5 territory, with the chance to encounter not only lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, but also cheetah and wild dog.

Family Loft Chalets

Two log-cabin style chalets under thatch, each accommodating 4 people with 1 loft double bed, 2 singles, and 1 bathroom. Air-conditioned and comfortably appointed.

Deluxe En-suite Rooms

Four luxury double/twin rooms with tea/coffee station and bar fridge (drinks for own account). Each has a private veranda opening onto the spacious lodge grounds.

The Cottage

A free-standing unit featuring two en-suite bedrooms plus an upstairs loft. A downstairs bathroom and private deck with plunge pool overlook the river. Within walking distance of the main lodge facilities.

The Homestead

Luxurious two-bedroom en-suite retreat in its own private setting near the river. Includes a spacious lounge, deck, and private plunge pool. Ideal for families or couples seeking exclusivity.
