Mtwazi Lodge is a self-catering lodge that is within the precinct of Hilltop Camp in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve.
This eight-bedded lodge, once the original home of the warden of the reserve, features memorabilia from the rich history of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Mtwazi Lodge may only be booked by one party at a time.
The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and an annex bedroom with its own shower and toilet en suite. The annex is not of the same standard as the rooms in the house.
A large lounge, with satellite television, and dining area lead out onto a large flagstone veranda with barbecue (braai) and from there into the tropical garden shaded by a gloriously spreading fig tree.
This lodge is serviced daily and there is a cook in attendance to assist with preparation of the food that you supply. All bed linen and towels are supplied with the kitchen equipped with basic necessary cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. You may also choose to dine at the nearby Hilltop Camp restaurant. |
