Amakhosi Safari Lodge is located in the Big Five, Amazulu Private Game Reserve, northern KwaZulu-Natal. 
Amakhosi Lodge is situated on the river bank overlooking Zululand's Mkuze River in the 12,000 hectare Amazulu Private Game Reserve. The accommodation’s artistic décor, the ‘African fusion’ cuisine, attentive service and outstanding game viewing,  gives guests at Amakhosi Lodge a luxurious wildlife experience.
The game rangers at Amakhosi Lodge are knowledgeable and extremely committed to this environment, they really endeavor to make the most of your Safari . Should you wish, you may also enjoy a guided walk with your armed ranger in the bush, this after the morning game drive, on these walks focus is more on the smaller, interesting life.

A qualified masseuse is available to offer you Aromatherapy treatments, including full body Swedish and stress relief back massages – this may be enjoyed in the privacy of your suite.

Amakhosi River Suites:
There are six luxurious river suites with private viewing decks looking out across the Mkuze River. The rooms are air conditioned with own separate lounge, double bedroom, bathroom (a bath for two) with a separate shower and toilet. In the lounge there is a fully stocked mini-bar and a tea and coffee station. All close to the main lodge facilities and swimming pool.

Umntwana Honeymoon Suites:
These two luxurious accommodation units are air conditioned with own separate lounge, double bedroom, bathroom (a bath for two) as well as a separate shower and toilet. In the lounge there is a fully stocked mini-bar and tea and coffee station. They also have their own private plunge pool and there is a hammock with an outlook over the river.

Amakhosi’s IsiGodlo Private Villa:
This private villa overlooks the Mkuze River and is exclusive, private and located a leopard's leap from the main lodge.  The comfortable lounge has a central fireplace. The bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms open onto a large wooden deck with splash pool, offering views of the valleys and wildlife below.
